What’s better than big? Smol! Halloween is every day! Smolington!

Smols are unibody small-sized professional hand puppets made in the Henson tradition. They are designed to fit the average adult hand comfortably, and would also be perfect for young people.

Professional puppeteers know that smaller, lighter puppets work best, and the Smol is designed with that in mind. Smols feature a double-hinged mouth plate and single finger loops on the top and bottom jaw. The head and body is a single construction, and the arms are unrodded to flop around playfully as the puppet is performed.

While Smols are designed to fit adult hands, people with larger hands may find it a tight fit so please bear that in mind. Smols are approx 14″ tall (head to bottom of the sleeve) with a 5″ diameter opening.

*Please be aware the Smols do not have arms rods as an intentional design choice. The arms are designed to flop around playfully as the character is performed. If you want a Smol with arm rods please message me and I’ll be happy to make a custom one for you!*

**Please note Smols are not toys** They are hand-made items and could get damaged if not handled with care. They’d be great for a youngster who wants to learn puppetry as long as they understand Smols need a gentle friend 🙂

Since they are individually hand-made, each Smol may have small imperfections.

These puppets may be used in any work, commercial or non commercial. Operation: Puppet retains the rights to the original design, but no attribution is required and no royalties are incurred. The only restriction is against making unauthorized copies of the design for commercial sale.
