Live Stream Archives

In this Twitch live stream archive Kevin iterated on the basic head pattern he freehand drew.

In this Twitch live stream archive Kevin creates the body pattern for the goblin. This pattern is now available for sale on the shop! https://www.etsy.com/ca/listing/1037531478/professional-goblin-puppet-pattern-pdf

Making a pattern from scratch is one of the more challenging aspects of puppet building, but don’t let that stop you! On this live stream I did an experiment where I freehand drew a pattern from scratch and it turned out very nice.

Hey there! Sometimes when new people come to professional puppet building, some of the materials can seem a bit exotic. Specific kinds of fleece, foam, etc. In this live stream archive I demonstrate that it’s quite possible to build a high quality puppet with materials that are widely available, and not expensive, plus explain *why* certain materials are favorable. Learning these techniques are the foundation of all puppet building, and it’s great to practice with these affordable materials!

The Greeblee gets finished! Live!

Another one! There’s going to be a lot of this on the channel now since I want to archive the streams, but I think they’ll be useful for beginner builders so… enjoy!

The Smol gets finished! Uh, spoilers I guess.

Here’s the second video in the inaugural build stream series. These are unedited so be aware there’s a break of a few mins after about an hour but the build does resume after that. Give me a follow on Twitch to get notified of future build streams!

I’ve recently started puppet building live streams on the Twitch channel, so here’s the archive of the first one. Went very well, technical issues aside (those dropped frames are on my end). Give me a follow on Twitch to get notified of future build streams!
