This goofy critter is a professional-style hand puppet made with the same techniques and materials as famous creations like The Muppets. Each puppet is hand-made by myself, a puppeteer working in the Henson tradition.
Both arms are sleeved for single or multiple performer live hands operation. It measures approx. 76cm (30 inches) tall, with 20cm (8 inch) biceps and 45 cm (18inch) arm sleeves. It has internal grips on both bottom and top mouth plate. The mouth plates and eyes are custom 3D printed. The teeth are soft hand carved raw foam.
Each live hands monster is unique, I will not be making any two exactly the same.
**Please note these puppets are not toys** and are not recommended for young children. They are hand-made items and could get damaged if not handled with care. They’d be great for a youngster who wants to learn puppetry as long as they understand these puppets need a gentle friend 🙂
Since they are individually hand-made, each puppet may have small imperfections.
These puppets may be used in any work, commercial or non commercial. Operation: Puppet retains the rights to the original design, but no attribution is required and no royalties are incurred. The only restriction is against making unauthorized copies of the design for commercial sale.
