Hooman Professional Hand Puppet (purple)

To celebrate 4 years of Operation: Puppet we’ve introduced a new model! Hoomans!

Hoomans are small-sized professional hand puppets made in the Henson tradition, inspired by the design work of early Muppet builder Don Sahlin, builder of the original Ernie and Bert! Hoomans feature removable 18″ arm rods* to make clothing changes easy. They are sized to fit preemie infant clothing perfectly. Fingers have wire armature to be posable.

Hoomans are approx 14″ tall with a 6″ diameter opening.

*Note about removable arm rods: most pro puppets don’t use removable rods as they can be loose and turn in the socket. Hoomans have them for convenient costume changes but please be aware the rod can become loose with time. A care sheet with tips is included.

**Please note Hoomans are not toys** They are hand-made items and could get damaged if not handled with care. They’d be great for a youngster who wants to learn puppetry as long as they understand they need a gentle friend 🙂

Since they are individually hand-made, each Hooman may have small imperfections.

These puppets may be used in any work, commercial or non commercial. Operation: Puppet retains the rights to the original design, but no attribution is required and no royalties are incurred. The only restriction is against making unauthorized copies of the design for commercial sale.
