Neefs are professional-style hand puppets made with the same techniques and materials as famous creations like The Muppets. Each Neef is hand-made by myself, a puppeteer working in the Henson tradition.
Each Neef measures approx 40cm (15.75 inches) tall, with 35cm (13.78 inches). They have internal leather grips on both bottom and top mouth plate. This live hands variant has unique finger extensions for an alien look.
Each Neef is unique, I will not be making any two exactly the same. If you don’t see the perfect Neef for you, check our other listings because new Neefs are being made all the time. I don’t normally do custom orders but if you need something specific feel free to message me and we can talk.
**Please note these puppets are not toys** and are not recommended for young children. They are hand-made items and could get damaged if not handled with care. They’d be great for a youngster who wants to learn puppetry as long as they understand they need a gentle friend 🙂
Since they are individually hand-made, each puppet may have small imperfections.
These puppets may be used in any work, commercial or non commercial. Operation: Puppet retains the rights to the original design, but no attribution is required and no royalties are incurred. The only restriction is against making unauthorized copies of the design for commercial sale.
