Premium Puppet – Nosferatu
Introducing our first Premium puppet!
My goal with Operation: Puppet is to make professional puppets available to folks who otherwise might not be in a position to own them. Making professional puppets is a very labour-intensive job and as a result can come with a (justifiably) big price tag. I’ve worked hard to come up with techniques that reduce my labour hours while still resulting in a great puppet.
Premium puppets do things the long way, with lots of extra time spent on the little details, and the best quality materials.
In this Nosferatu there are exactly three machine-sewn seams, all in places that are not normally visible. Everything else in hand stitched. The pattern is 100% original.
There are many custom 3D printed features including ears, teeth, claws, knuckles, finger joints, and special doll joints on the arms that allow them to be removed for costume changes, while still keeping permanent arm rods. The mouth plates are custom 3D printed designs with sturdy leather finger loops.
The skin is custom dyed Nylafleece and the hands are posable with steel wire armature. The body is sized to fit preemie infant clothing.
It measures 20” from the base of the body to the top of the head, with 18” arm rods.
As with any hand-made item there may be small imperfections, but these Premium puppets are made with the utmost care and attention.
**Please note these are not toys** They are hand-made items and could get damaged if not handled with care. They’d be great for a youngster who wants to learn puppetry as long as they understand they need a gentle friend.
These puppets may be used in any work, commercial or non commercial. Operation: Puppet retains the rights to the original design, but no attribution is required and no royalties are incurred. The only restriction is against making unauthorized copies of the design for commercial sale.
