Meet the Nurnees!

Nurnees are the cousins of our popular Greeblees, colourful creatures that love to play and sing. Each one is individually hand crafted and no two Nurnees are exactly the same.

Nurnees are professional-style hand puppets made with the same techniques and materials as famous creations like The Muppets. Each Nurnee is hand-made by myself, a puppeteer working in the Henson tradition.

Each Nurnee measures approx 45.72cm (18 inches) tall, with 35cm (13.78 inches) permanent arm rods. They have an internal foam structure, and leather finger loops on both bottom and top mouth plate. Fingers have wire armature for pose-ability.

Each Nurnee is unique, I will not be making any two exactly the same. If you don’t see the perfect Nurnee for you, check our other listings because new Nurnees are being made all the time. I don’t normally do custom orders but if you need something specific feel free to message me and we can talk.

**Please note Nurnees are not toys** and are not recommended for young children. They are hand-made items and could get damaged if not handled with care. They’d be great for a youngster who wants to learn puppetry as long as they understand Nurnees need a gentle friend 🙂

Since they are individually hand-made, each Nurnee may have small imperfections.

These puppets may be used in any work, commercial or non commercial. Operation: Puppet retains the rights to the original design, but no attribution is required and no royalties are incurred. The only restriction is against making unauthorized copies of the design for commercial sale.
