Sonk Puppets! Not a spelling error!
Sonk Puppets are simple muppet-style hand puppets made for practicing puppetry but have plenty of personality for use in any finished production. Each Sonk Puppet is hand-made by myself, a puppeteer working in the Henson tradition. Sonk Puppets have no arms/arm rods, so they’re perfect for youngsters who want to learn puppetry. Sonk Puppets are designed as beginner or practice puppets and have a simple but expressive form.
**Please note Sonk Puppets are not toys, and can be damaged if handled roughly. They are made in the same manner as professional puppets, and would be great for a youngster who wants to learn puppetry as long as they understand Sonk Puppets need a gentle friend 🙂
These puppets may be used in any work, commercial or non commercial. Operation: Puppet retains the rights to the original design, but no attribution is required and no royalties are incurred. The only restriction is against making unauthorized copies of the design for commercial sale.
