Morning Coffee Blog: Wednesday Stream Grab-Bag

It’s Wednesday, which means we’re upon another build stream day! (11am ET on Twitch and YouTube).

Still not 100% sure what I’ll be building today. It’s a bit of a weird week, time-wise. I plan builds for the month broken down by weekly goals, and as today is the first it means there are only 3 days in this first week. I usually leave short weeks for a bit of flex time and experimenting.

I’ve been planning on doing some more goblins, which are always fun but take a wee bit more time than something like a Greeblee or a Smol as they have more facial features. Three days is probably about right, so I think that’s what it’ll be today.

There’s a bit of a twist in that here in Toronto, as a lot of places in the East of North America right now, we’re having a bit of a cold snap so I’m hesitant to open the shop window. That means of course no using nasty fume-making things like Barge, so that limits what I can do to working with fabric and other non-glue-based prep.

For reasons I’ll explain on stream, I think today I’ll do a slight alteration of my Goblin pattern (available for purchase on the Etsy shop) and try an all-fleece-body version. I’ve done a similar thing with Greeblees and they look pretty good, so we’ll see what comes of this. Both the Etsy and Direct shops are looking pretty empty again and I’m trying to get more stock on them so I can get around to some commissions folks have been patiently waiting for, so there’s some plate spinning to manage!

That being so, coffee, morning workout, then into the puppet mines.
